2025 was noisy.
AI this. Personalization that. “New era of ecommerce” everywhere you turn.
But beneath all the headlines, a few quiet shifts happened, the kind that didn’t go viral, but changed how the most innovative brands operated.
Here are some of them:
-
Ad costs didn’t drop, but attention spans did.
-
Founders started talking again, sharing their “why”, the story, and their belief. Those who did outperformed the faceless brands 3:1 in engagement. This is because people buy from people, not logos.
-
People who treated AI as a shortcut fell behind, whereas those who used it to enhance creativity, speed, and testing efficiency scaled quietly and quickly. AI made good marketers great and lazy marketers obsolete.
-
“Community” finally meant something again. Private spaces, WhatsApp groups, and loyalty programs reminded everyone that connection can’t be automated.
So, as 2026 approaches, ignore the noise and pay attention to the patterns.
